Veality Show

I was blessed to film a pilot for Lifetime. The Tallest Virgin in the world was a very special project that both Leftfield Pictures and I worked hard to make happen. I loved every minute of it and am thankful that God gave me a platform that inspired many people.

So what happened to the show Alicia?

The show did not fit into Lifetime's programming however I am happy to say that it is still a possibility if a different network wants to pick it up! I am firm believer that if it is supposed to happen, it will. I pray about it and am at peace with God's plan for my life. If He leads me to it, amazing! If He doesn't, something better is on the way. Regardless, thank you for your support. It means everything!

With that said, after the pilot aired I was on 106.1 KMEL to talk about my virginity with some truly amazing people; Sana G, Miss Kimmie, D.C. and DJ Lexx Jonez. While it is an older interview, my words still and will remain true. Check out this 2 minute clip of my interview with the Sana G morning show:

A huge thanks to the Sana G Morning Show...they had me on one of the highest rated radio shows in the game to talk about my decision to wait for over 2 hours! It was precious time that I am forever grateful for.

Fighting Lessons

First and foremost, thank you so much for your support of The Tallest Virgin in the World. Your emails and social media messages meant and mean the world to me. It received good ratings and we are still waiting on pins and needles to see if it goes to series! I will definitely keep you updated.

With that said, I have to admit that I have been on somewhat of a low, after that amazing high of seeing something I worked so hard for, coming to fruition. In so many ways, I worked my entire life to gain a platform, such as a national television program, to show women everywhere that they are beautiful JUST the way they are and furthermore are created specifically for a purpose. Then it drops and…nothing.

Now, I know that God is working behind the scenes and that His plan is the only plan but right now I am being attacked in so many ways. From personal to professional, I have been tested in the days since the pilot has aired. I was at a very high point of frustration when it hit me…

When God wants you to grow and prepare for the next step in your life, He makes you uncomfortable.

Yep. He does it on purpose.

Think about it. If you were happy and comfortable why move? Why grow? We would never make a change if there was no reason to. That uncomfortable state is a tool God uses to craft you into what he wants and needs you to be.

So if you are uncomfortable like me, don’t stew in it. Learn from it and prepare for your breakthrough. That frustration is a step to unlocking a new path that will lead to everything God has planned for you. Don’t give up.  It’s hard rounding that corner but think about all of the effort it took to get there.

Don’t fight the lesson, learn it.

About Last Night...

First and foremost…last night was amazing! All of your support and well wishes for the debut of the Tallest Virgin in the World pilot means the world to me. Overall I was very pleased with the episode and completely in awe of the opportunity that God has given me to show the real life of a tall, single, virgin. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

However, I do want to make one thing clear…

My virginity is very important to me. I am looking for love, marriage and THEN sharing everything with the love of my life which includes my virginity. I am saving it for him and only him. I am not in a rush to lose it but giving myself a time frame to find love is something that I am trying because it makes me step outside of my dating comfort zone and approach finding love in a different way than I have in the past. If it works, amazing! If it doesn’t, on to the next plan. Regardless, I can’t wait to share every step with you.

Again, thank you for everything! Please put in those prayers that it gets picked up for series and I will be sure to keep you updated:)

The Tallest Virgin in the World

I have been wanting to tell you about this for SO LONG and now I can spill the beans! I have been working on a project for some time now and it's finally here...

I shot a pilot for Lifetime (which also happens to be the same title as my book) called The Tallest Virgin in the World. It's a half hour show that features 6'4" Talltique owner Helen Pappas, the fabulous 6'6" Sydney Wilson and myself. It's about the real life of tall, single women and I am honored to be a part of it.

It airs THIS WEDNESDAY on Lifetime at 11/10c. I can't wait to share it with you! Please tell me what you think and look out for my #TallestVirgin recap on TallSWAG the morning after (Thursday).
